Everyone has a hidden talent
This saying was passed around quite a lot while I was growing up, it always interested me because I never thought of myself as a person with a special talent. People always say that it takes time to find out what it may be, however who has time these days?
I am sure at one point in everyone's life they want to feel proud of themselves, or they want other people to notice their achievements. There are many things out there that many people aspire to be able to do or be.
The question at hand is does everyone have a hidden talent?
This is up to your own interpretation but this is mine:
Everyone is born for a reason, everyone is born with something unique about them, this makes them different to everybody else. Some say talent is something you are born with, however others say that it is something that can be developed over time.
Talent is something that is born when you are, yes you need to discover it first and stick with it, however you also need to practise it like a hobby. You need to do it with passion and never give up, a talent starts off small but develops into something bigger when worked hard on.
Distinctly, as many people may know talent doesn't have to be sports, art, or music it could be something new, it could be something unique and different. In our generation and world we don't have any limitations when it comes to new discoveries - as an open mind is the best mind.
Usually people think having a talent means you are the best, however that isn't always the case. This is because there are many people in this world which could be working as hard as you or have similar talents to you. Hard work pays off therefore you cannot always rely on talent - you are only as good as your last performance.
The point I am trying to make is that you should never feel as if you are useless or untalented. It may take ages to find but it will be worth it in the end. Everyone has something special about themselves that can only be improved and developed never lost or taken away.

I believe there is a different between the words "gift" and "talent". See, a gift is something you were born with, something you are naturally good at. A talent is something you practice over time. So, I think the word you are looking for is "gift" rather than "talent" :)
